ever since i got my first pair of loafers, i've been wanting more.  you can't beat the comfort and for me, its much easier to get away with wild colors/patterns on a flat for work.

wanting these prada ostrich-stam drivers sooooooo bad

at $400+ they're a litttttttle out of my range.  i'd settle for these though...

love these looks from the new Camilla & Marc line as shown by Oyster Magazine.   fresh suits, fashion forward prints and updated tailoring with just a touch of styling.  especially liking the mono-chromatic drop waist shot.

she's got great style and isn't afraid to take a calculate fashion risk, like her blue hombre locks.  the style caster editorial golden girl features her all suited up.  the ultra masculine styling is a fresh look for her and i'm digging the srgt. pepper vibe.

weighing my options

Chicago winter is approaching, and i'm well into my winter clothing prep with several jackets, cloaks and accessories stashed away, but appropriate footwear is sitll top on that list.  a couple options i'm considering...

the Chooka bootie.  so happy to find a shortie rain boot option, and double points for not being a pair of Hunters.  but, will they be warm in -20?

these furry boots are my dream.  ash yeti knee highs, that would probably take more maintenance to keep them looking nice than my own hair.  but they would look sooo good stomping around the snow packed streets.

these sam edelman jayla booties kill.  they look stylish, and like they could stand up to a brutal winter.  but, will my calves get cold?

shots i really loved from the isabel marant campaign.  she makes basics look so good, with updated cuts and patterns.  the shoes are kill too.

love this shot by the sartorialist, he's got a great eye.  killer metallic shorts (skirt?), unique floral button down that kind of reminds me of an updated Hawaiian shirt, and that pop of orange.

the shots from the new style stalker campaign are striking.  anja looks insanely hot, with her bleached out hair and brows, but the clothes aren't doing it for me. 

except i would take one of each in this shot...really wanting a metallic belt like that.

planning on a bleach tie-die job to freshen up some dark interior spaces. 

if it turns out right, i may have to bring it to the closet.

oh, abbey

abbey lee has always been a style stand-out, but her looks this year during fashion week(s) looked so fresh and different.  equal parts model-off-duty, rocker, and goth queen she's definitely taking cues from the grunge revival.  that velvet duster is beyond.

the Rachel Comey Penpal boot.  look at that georgously cut ankle.  in my mind, they are the perf pair of boots.  worth the investment, i just hope they last forever...just like our love.
